A female remand person in custody attacked a correctional officer at Tai Lam Centre for Women yesterday (March 29).
At 7.47am, the 27-year-old female remand person in custody took the food of another remand person in custody when giving out breakfast. The officer at the scene immediately stopped her. However, she suddenly splashed a mug of milk tea at the officer and pushed over a table. Reinforcement staff arrived and escorted her away from the scene. No one suffered any injury in the incident.
The case has been reported to the Police for investigation.
The remand person in custody was remanded for the offences of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
