Objectives

To provide assistance and guidance to persons in custody in solving personal problems and difficulties arising from imprisonment / detention.

Functions and Services Provided

Rehabilitation Officers provide assistance and guidance to persons in custody in handling problems and difficulties arising from imprisonment. Other than providing individual and group counselling, Rehabilitation Officers organize and co-organize with non-government organizations, volunteers and prison visitors in the provision of rehabilitation and reintegration programmes.
