Following the Government's announcement regarding the latest disease prevention arrangements, the Correctional Services Department (CSD) said today (December 14) that, with immediate effect, visitors entering correctional institutions will no longer be required to use the "LeaveHomeSafe" (LHS) mobile app to register. However, visitors shall present their Vaccine Pass QR code (through LHS, "iAM Smart" or "eHealth" mobile applications, or using paper copy/screenshots in mobile phone). Those categorised with a Red Code will not be allowed to enter the correctional institutions for visits. To reduce the risk of the spread of the virus into the institutions, visitors are still required to conduct a rapid antigen test by themselves with a negative result on the day of the visit, and declare the test result in a health declaration form upon arrival at the correctional institutions.
The visit arrangements and relevant measures may be subject to change according to the epidemic developments, and visitors should pay attention to the latest information published via the CSD website.
