Correctional staff intercept unauthorised article

     Correctional Services staff of Hei Ling Chau Correctional Institution (HLCI) seized an unauthorised article on a mail addressed to an inmate today (January 22).

      At about 4.15pm, staff of HLCI found an unauthorised article, one unused stamp under the posted stamp on a mail to an inmate during security check.

      The inmate is serving a sentence for an offence of blackmail.

      The case has been reported to the Police for further investigation.
