Scope of Work

The unit is responsible for conducting pre-sentence assessment to persons detained in reception centres, and serves to meet the rehabilitative needs of inmates during their stay in the Detention Centre, Rehabilitation Centres, Training Centres and Drug Addiction Treatment Centres. It also provides statutory supervision to offenders discharged from respective inmate centres.
